Awards presented in 2023 will be based on service and business in 2022.

The 2023 Chamber Awards Gala Wednesday, March 22, 2023
The awards gala is a time to recognize outstanding citizens and businesses of Henry County. During this annual event you will also have the chance to mingle, enjoy dinner, entertainment and have a chance to win a great raffle prize.

Leading up to the gala, nominations are accepted and Chamber membership will vote and select three finalist from each category.
At the gala the finalists are honored and the winner announced.

Nominations are open for 2022 (to be awarded in 2023).

Do not miss the opportunity to nominate the outstanding citizens and businesses of Henry County! We encourage interested businesses to nominate themselves, or to nominate any qualified and deserving individual or business!

-You do have to be a Henry County resident to be a nominee.

-A business or individual may nominate themselves.

-You may nominate more than one individual or business per category.

-Nominations must be in the Chamber office no later than February 20, 2023.

-Nominations may be submitted online via the links below or you may print the form and mail it to the Chamber office at: NCHC Chamber, 100 S. Main St., Ste. 108, New Castle, IN 47362. It must be received no later than February 20, 2023.

-Nomination forms are also available at the Chamber office.

-The final three will be notified no later than February 27, 2023. The final three from each award and their nominators should plan to attend the event.

-A representative from each Chamber member business will vote and the three finalist from each category will then be announce February 27. At the gala the finalist are honored and each category winner announced.

Chamber Awards Guidelines – March 22, 2023

Voting parties:

  • Current Chamber members receive 1 vote per category from their primary contact.
  • Previous year award recipients (1 representative from a business/organization) may vote on the category which they were awarded
  • Chamber Awards presenting sponsor
  • Chamber board members

Voting process:

  • Business or person name is removed from information that voting panel sees
  • Combine multiple nominations to one so that each nominee has one set of information to review
  • Voting days and times will be provided

Award nominees:

  • An award recipient (excludes honorees) is not eligible to win again for 3 years
  • If a nominee is not able to attend the event, they may send a proxy
  • All nominees receive two tickets to the event
  • Nominees/recipients are not required to be Chamber members

Nominees Attending Gala

If you are one of the finalists nominees:

You and one guest may attend at no cost. You do need to register though. You may do this by clicking here and select 'Chamber Gala Nominee & 1 Guest'.

When your category is being announced and they say your name or business name you will be asked to stand and be recognized.

If you are the award winner a representative or small group will come to the stage to accept the award. You will be asked if you would like to say a few words. You are not required to speak if you are not comfortable doing so.

After receiving your award you will go to the photo area and a professional photographer will take your picture. Family and friends are asked to take photos following the event.

If you are honored but not the award recipient you will receive a plaque. This will be delivered to you are your seat.

Seating is reserved. If you wish to be seated with a specific group we recommend you make your reservation by phone. Tables of 6 and 8 are available and the cost of your complimentary ticket/s will be deducted from the table prices. Please call the office at 765-529-5210.

Attire is a little bit shy of black tie. But business casual is acceptable.
