Membership Benefits for Your Business

REFERRALS: The Chamber receives over one hundred requests per month for information on Henry County. Business referrals are given solely from the Chamber’s membership.

CERTIFICHECKS: This program, started in 2002, is designed to promote consumer shopping at Chamber member businesses. To date, over $140,000 in CERTIFICHECKS have been sold. This is money that will stay in our community!! Accepted at over 100 participating Chamber member companies, CERTIFICHECKS are not just for the holidays! They are great for birthdays and other gift occasions as well as employee incentives and rewards.

INTERNET LISTINGS & LINKS: Members are listed alphabetically and by business category on the Chamber web site www.nchcchamber.com. Member’s web sites are also linked providing global access for prospective customers.

NETWORKING: Many opportunities exist for business networking including Lunches With The Chamber and the Henry County Expo. Social functions include Cash Bonanza, the Golf Outing and the Annual Meeting where the Henry County “Citizen of the Year” and “Business of the Year” are recognized.

BUSINESS PROGRAMS: Throughout the year, a variety of speakers addressing business needs and concerns are featured at Chamber functions. These are offered at a reduced rate to Chamber members.

BULK RATE POSTAL PERMIT: The Chamber’s bulk rate postal permit is available to members for mailings of 200+ pieces. This offers a considerable savings with reduced postage rates and eliminates the $175 annual permit fee.

INSURANCE: Several Chamber member insurance companies offer general and health insurance packages to members only, often at reduced rates.

BUSINESS SERVICES: Through area partnerships, the Chamber can assist member businesses with such issues as workforce training, and grant programs.

MONTHLY NEWSLETTER: Members receive the monthly CHAMBER COMMENTARY which highlights local business news, legislative issues relating to business and presents timely business information. Also included are Chamber functions and a calendar of events.

MARKETING: Advertising flyers and newsletter inserts are available to help members promote their business.

HENRY COUNTY BUSINESS GUIDE: ALL Chamber members are listed in this annual publication at no charge!! Over 5,000 copies are distributed to newcomers and throughout the community. Members only may purchase additional advertising at special rates. Community Maps are printed every 2-3 years; again, members only are permitted to advertise.
